Red Copper Miniatures is a brand specialised in designing 15 mm and 28 mm miniatures for historical wargames and fantasy games. Its main hallmark is the combination of solid historical rigour—supported by thorough documentary and material research—with a contemporary, attractive, and carefully crafted design approach.
The project is a personal initiative by Mario, a historian, art historian, and secondary school teacher in Spain, who oversees every stage of the process. From initial research and miniature design to 3D sculpting, prototype printing, painting, and the photography of models and scenery, each phase is carried out with careful attention to detail. This comprehensive involvement ensures aesthetic coherence, historical accuracy, and a distinctive visual identity.
Red Copper Miniatures focuses its work on civilisations and cultures that are often overlooked by traditional modelling companies. The brand priorities the representation of alterity and the inclusion of lesser-explored historical contexts, thereby expanding the narrative and visual possibilities available to wargamers.
The result is a proposal that brings together strong research foundations, artistic sensitivity, and a clear educational vocation, offering miniatures with personality and depth for hobbyists and collectors who seek more than the conventional lines found in the industry.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that our recent partnership with MKZ Games will allow us to distribute both our printed miniatures and STL files in accordance with the high standards of quality and attention to detail the said the company maintains.
