This range of miniatures has been designed to represent the early Hebrew armies from Joshua's arrival in Canaan after the Exodus (a story set around 1250 BC) to David's ascension as king at the end of the 2nd millennium BC and it is based largely on the Bible which, unreliable as it may be as a historical source, is often the only source available.
